Run the command set protocol protocols bgp evpn neighbor activate to activate the BGP peer or peer group within the EVPN address family to enable EVPN route exchange with the BGP peer.
Optional parameter vrf can be used to identify a VRF, if not defined, the command takes effect on the default VRF. Optional parameter l2vpn can be added to make this command take effect on layer 2 EVPN.
To delete this configuration, run the command delete protocol delete protocols bgp evpn neighbor activate.

delete protocol delete protocols bgp [vrf <text>] [l2vpn] evpn neighbor <bgp-peer> activate
