For a switch that is not deployed with AmpCon™-DC, you can also import the switch so that it can be managed by AmpCon-DC.
Prerequisites
The switch to be imported hasn’t been managed by the AmpCon-DC server.
The AmpCon-DC license includes the Hardware ID of the switch.
Importing a Switch with a Global User
In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Switch.
Click Import Actions, and then select Import.
In the IP field, enter the IP address of the switch.
In the System Config drop-down list, select the appropriate System Config.
Note: The System Config needs to contain the username and password to log in to the switch.

Click OK.
In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Services > Switch. Check whether the switch status is shown as "Imported".
Click OK.
Importing a Switch with a Group User
In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Switch.
Click Import Actions, and then select Import.
In the IP field, enter the IP address of the switch.
In the System Config drop-down list, select the appropriate System Config.
Note: The System Config needs to contain the username and password to log in to the switch.
In the Fabric drop-down list, select a fabric.
In the Group drop-down list, select a switch group.
