You can check the differences between a configuration template and the running configurations on a switch.

• AmpCon™-DC doesn’t support verifying comparing a configuration template on a switch with running configurations on other switches.

• The Template Verify feature works only for connected switches.

Procedure

To verify a configuration template with running configurations on a switch, follow these steps:

1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Config Template.

2. In the SN field, click Select to choose the switch.

3. In the pop-up window, select a switch to compare.

...

4. In the Template field, click Select to select the template to compare.

5. In the pop-up window, select a the global configuration and a the configuration template to compare, and then click Generate.

Then, you can see the differences between the configuration template and the runing configurations on the switch.
