You can compare two historical configurations that ran running configurations or historical configuration snapshots on one switch or on different switches. Note: This feature works only for connected switches.

Procedure
To compare two configuration snapshots, follow these steps:
In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Configuration Template.
In the Config Snapshot Diff tabfirst SN field, click Select to choose the one switch to compare.
Select the historical config of the switch.
Click "Select" to choose the switch Click "Select" to make a selection (you can choose the same switch or a different one).
Select the historical configs to compare.In the pop-up window, select the switch.
In the first Select Config drop-down list, select a running configuration file or a backup configuration file.
Note: The running configuration is available only for connected switches. It cannot be retrieved from disconnected switches.

In the second SN field, click Select to choose another switch to compare.
In the pop-up window, select the switch.
In the second Select Config drop-down list, select a running configuration file or a backup configuration file.
