Content Comparison

You can compare verify a configuration template with the configuration configurations that are running on the same switch.

Notes:

• This feature works only for connected switches.

• AmpCon™-DC doesn’t support verifying a configuration template in a switch with running configurations in other switches.

Procedure

To verify a configuration template with a running configuration, follow these steps:

1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Config Template.

2. In the SN field, click Select to choose the switch.

3. In the pop-up window, select a switch to compare.

4. In the Template field, click Select to select the template to compare.

5. In the pop-up window, select a global configuration and a site template, and then click Generate.

6. In the SN drop-down list, select Running Config(set format) or Running Config(all set format).

Note: Running Config is available only for connected switches. It cannot be retrieved from disconnected switches.
