Before you deploy switches, configure each switch model that you want to manage with AmpCon™AmpCon-DC. If not, the default port number ranges and built-in PicOS® PicOS images are used to deploy switches with these switch models.

Click Service > Switch Model in the AmpCon-DC UI, and then check whether the PicOS® PicOS image to install is listed in the Deployed ONIE Image drop-down list.
If the image is not listed there, upload the PicOS® PicOS image and its MD5 file to AmpCon-DC. For more information, see Uploading Images.
If the image is listed there, you don’t need to upload the PicOS® PicOS image and its MD5 file.

In the Switch Model drop-down list, select the switch model that you want to configure.
Configure the port number range for each speed.
In the Deployed ONIE Image drop-down list, select the PicOS® PicOS image that you want to install for this switch model.
Note: If the PicOS® PicOS image to install is not listed here, upload the PicOS® PicOS image and its MD5 file to AmpCon-DC. For more information, see Uploading Images.

Note: After you reset a switch model, the port number range for each speed is set to zero, and the PicOS® PicOS image in the Deployed ONIE Image drop-down list is reset to the built-in image.
