Parameter

Description

vrf <vrf-name>

Optional. Specifies a VRF name. The value is a string. It’s a user-defined VRF set by the command set ip vrf <vrf-name> [description <string>].

neighbor {<ip>|<bgppeer>|<interface>}neighbor <ip>Specifies an the IP address of neighbora peer.
peer-group <peer-group>Specifies a peer group.
interface <interface>Specifies an interface for BGP connection.
remote-as {<as-number>|external|internal}

<as-number>: Specifies a 4-byte AS number in asplain format (z), or asdot format (x.y), where z is a number from 1

to
4294967295

to 4294967295 and x and y are 16-bit numbers in the range 0 to 65535.

external: Create a peer as you would when you specify an ASN, except that if the peers ASN is the same as mine as specified under this command the connection will be denied.

internal: Create a peer as you would when you specify an ASN, except that if the peers ASN is different than mine as specified under tis command the connection will be denied.
