Before you deploy switches, configure each switch model that you want to manage with AmpCon™AmpCon-DC. If not, the default port number ranges and PicOS® built-in PicOS images are used to deploy switches with these switch models.

Configuring a Switch Model

  1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Switch Model.

  2. Optional: Update Refresh the supported switch model list:

    1. Click Update Switch Model.

    2. Click Yes to confirm the update.

Optional: Resetting a Switch Model

To reset a switch model, follow these steps:Note:

  1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Switch Model.

  2. Click Reset.

  3. Click Save.

After you reset the a switch model, the port number range for each speed is set to zero, and the image for this switch model PicOS image in the Deployed ONIE Image drop-down list is reset to the default version.
