The set protocols bgp neighbor disable-connected-check command allows peerings between directly connected eBGP peers using loopback addresses.
The delete protocols bgp neighbor disable-connected-check command doesn't allow peerings between directly connected eBGP peers using loopback addresses.

set protocols bgp [vrf <vrf-name>] neighbor <protocol bgppeer> disable-connected-check
delete protocols bgp [vrf <vrf-name>] neighbor <protocol bgppeer> disable-connected-check
