Viewing Historical Topologies

You can enter the historical topology mode to view the network status at different time or analyze the historical topology to trace problems.

Entering the Historical Topology Mode

1. In the AmpCon-Campus UI, click Topo > Topology.

2. Click the topology in the Topology List section, and then you enter the real-time topology mode automatically.

3. To enter the historical topology mode, click the "History" icon.

Viewing Historical Topologies

1. In the historical topology mode, click the "Aim" icon.

2. Modify the time in the pop-up window, and click OK.

3. After the topology is loaded completely, the topology shows the state at the selected time point. The timeline shows 35 minutes forward or backward from that time point.

4. Click the time points in the timeline to view historical topologies at different time.

Zooming in or out of a Topology

• To zoom in a topology, hover the mouse over the topology, hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard, and then scroll the mouse wheel forward.

• To zoom out of a topology, hover the mouse over the topology, hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard, and then scroll the mouse wheel backward.

Exporting a Topology

In the historical topology mode, click the "Download Image" icon. You can view the exported topology in the download history of your browser.

Returning to the Real-Time Topology Mode

In the historical topology mode, click the “Back To Real-Time Topology” icon to leave the historical mode.
