Backing up and Restoring Configurations

Backup Configuration for a Single Device

1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Configuration Template.

2. In the Config Backup tab, locate a switch, and click Backup Config.

Backup Configuration by Group

1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Configuration Template.

2. In the Config Backup tab, select the group you want to back up, and then click Backup Config.

Automatic Backup

1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Configuration Template.

2. In the Config Backup tab, set the following schedule:

• Interval Days: The interval in days between each backup

• Hours: The time in hour to do the backup

3. Click Save. Then, AmpCon™-DC will do the backup at the specified time.

View or Delete Historical Backup Configuration Files

To view the list of backup configuration files or delete a backup configuration, follow these steps:

In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Configuration Template. In the Config Backup tab, locate a switch, and then click Snapshot List.

• To see the configuration details, click Snapshot List.

• To delete a backup configuration file, click Delete.

Set Golden Config

1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Configuration Template.

2. In the Config Backup tab, locate a switch, and then click Snapshot List.

3. Locate a backup snapshot, and then click Set Golden Config.

View all Configurations

To view detailed configurations on a switch, follow these steps:

1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Configuration Template.

2. In the Config Backup tab, locate a switch, and then click Config.

Upload Local Configuration Files

1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Configuration Template.

2. In the Config Backup tab, locate a switch, and then click Upload Config.

View Configuration Logs

1. In the AmpCon-DC UI, click Service > Configuration Template.

2. In the Config Backup tab, locate a switch, and click Log.

Click "Log" to view the logs.
