Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) is a technology for automated deployment and configuration of network devices. AmpCon-DC Campus supports using ZTP to provision new switches.
ZTP relies on the DHCP service, and thus you need to configure DHCP first. After you plug in and reboot the switch, DHCP automatically provides the switch with an IP address and the address of a provision script that is obtained from AmpCon-DC Campus server. The switch automatically runs the script to find the AmpCon-DC Campus server, register with it, and then complete the PicOS installation and configuration without manual intervention.
...
The Hardware ID of the switch to provision has been added to the AmpCon-DC Campus license. For more information, see Preparing Licenses.
