The set protocols bgp neighbor remove-private-AS command removes private ASNs from routes sent to the neighbor.
The delete protocols bgp neighbor remove-private-AS command allows the private-AS number to be carried in BGP update message.
Command Syntax
set protocols bgp [vrf <vrf-name>] {ipv4 unicast|ipv4 labeled-unicast|ipv6 unicast|ipv6 labeled-unicast} {neighbor <ip>| peer-group <peer-group> |interface <interface>} remove-private-AS [all] [replace-AS]

Parameter

vrf <vrf-name> | Optional. Specifies a VRF name. The value is a string. It’s a user-defined VRF set by the command set ip vrf <vrf-name> [description <string>]. |

Usage Guidelines
If you use private ASNs in the data center, any routes you send out to the internet contain your private ASNs. You can remove all the private ASNs from routes to a specific neighbor.
