set protocols bgp evpn advertise-svi-ip

Run the command set protocols bgp evpn advertise-svi-ip to advertise the local SVI IP address so that it can be accessible from remote VTEPs. This command is needed when unique SVIs are used across different racks. You should not use this command if SVI addresses are reused across different racks and are not unique.

Run the command delete protocols bgp evpn advertise-svi-ip to remove this configuration.


Command Syntax

set protocols bgp evpn advertise-svi-ip

delete protocols bgp evpn advertise-svi-ip


Example

  • Configure the device to advertise the local SVI IP.
admin@Xorplus# set protocols bgp evpn advertise-svi-ip
admin@Xorplus# commit
