The S5860-48XMG-U/S5860-48XMG/S5860-48MG-U switches are dual-chip switches which flood received broadcast, multicast, or unknown unicast traffic between chips. When there is a large amount of broadcast, multicast, or unknown unicast traffic, it may trigger an intra-device broadcast storm, resulting in inter-chip network congestion and packet loss.
