The set protocols snmp trap-group event cpu-threshold enable command is used to enable or disable the function of monitoring the switch CPU usage and sending an SNMP Trap message when the switch CPU usage exceeds the overload threshold or falls below the low threshold.
Command Syntax
set protocols snmp trap-group event cpu-threshold enable <true | false>
Parameter
Parameter | Description |
enable <true | false> | Enable or disable the function of monitoring the switch CPU usage and sending an SNMP Trap message. The value could be true or false.
The function is disabled by default. |
Usage Guidelines
After this function is enabled, the device can generate an SNMP Trap alarm message when the switch CPU usage exceeds the overload threshold or falls below the low threshold, so you can effectively monitor CPU usage and optimize system performance to maintain data forwarding and network topology stability.
