set protocols gvrp interface enable


The set protocols gvrp interface enable command can be used to enable or disable GVRP function on a specific interface.

The delete protocols gvrp interface enable command deletes the configuration.

NOTE:

To enable GVRP function, users need to enable GVRP BOTH globally and at the per-interface level. The command set protocols gvrp enable enables GVRP function globally.


Command Syntax

set protocols gvrp interface <interface-name> enable <true | false>


Parameters

Parameter

Description

interface <interface-name>

Specifies an interface name. The value could be a physical interface or a LAG interface.

<true | false>

Enable or disable GVRP function on a specific interface. The value could be true or false.

  • true: Enable GVRP function on a specific interface.
  • false: Disable GVRP function on a specific interface.

By default, GVRP function is disabled.


Example

  • Enable GVRP function on a specific interface.
admin@PICOS# set protocols gvrp interface te-1/1/19 enable true
admin@PICOS# commit
