set mac-map mac-address vlan


The set mac-map mac-address vlan command configures MAC address and VLAN mapping entry.

The delete mac-map mac-address vlan command deletes the configuration.

NOTE:

The same MAC address can be bound to no more than one VLAN.


Command Syntax

set mac-map mac-address <mac-address> vlan <vlan-id>


Parameters

Parameter

Description

mac-address <mac-address>

Specifies a MAC address binding to the VLAN. The value is in the format H:H:H:H:H:H. An H contains 2 hexadecimal numbers. MAC address cannot be set to all-0, all-F or multicast address.

vlan <vlan-id>

Specifies the VLAN ID. The value is an integer that ranges from 1-4094.


Example

  • Configure MAC address 00:22:22:22:22:20 to VLAN 200 mapping entry.
admin@Xorplus# set mac-map mac-address 00:22:22:22:22:20 vlan 200
admin@Xorplus# commit
