set protocols vrrp interface vrid ipv6-nd adv-interval-option


The set protocols vrrp interface vrid ipv6-nd adv-interval-option command includes an Advertisement Interval option which indicates to hosts the maximum time, in milliseconds, between successive unsolicited Router Advertisements for a VRRP group. Default: not set.

The delete protocols vrrp interface vrid ipv6-nd adv-interval-option command restores the default configuration.

interface <interface-name>

Specifies the Layer 3 interface name of VRRP device. The value could be the VLAN interface name, the routed interface or the sub-interface name. The value is a string.

vrid <virtual-router-id>

Specifies the VRID of a VRRP group. The value is an integer that ranges from 1 to 254.


Example

  • Configure to include an Advertisement Interval option between successive unsolicited Router Advertisements for a VRRP group.
