set interface gigabit-ethernet fec
The set interface gigabit-ethernet fec command is used to enable or disable Forwarding Error Correction (FEC) function on the 100G, 40G or 25G port of the switch.
Command Syntax
set interface gigabit-ethernet <interface-name> fec <true | false>
Parameter
Parameter | Description |
gigabit-ethernet <interface-name> | Specifies the 100G, 40G or 25G interface name of the switch. |
fec <true | false> | Enable or disable FEC function. The value could be true or false.
By default, FEC function is disabled. |
Example
- Disable FEC function on the switch port xe-1/1/1.
admin@XorPlus# set interface gigabit-ethernet xe-1/1/1 fec false admin@XorPlus# commit
- Enable FEC function on the switch port xe-1/1/2.
admin@XorPlus# set interface gigabit-ethernet xe-1/1/2 fec true admin@XorPlus# commit
