Playbook Job function


Playbooks appear in the jobs list only after the “run” operation is executed. In the job list, you can see the Schedule Type and Status of the playbooks, and you can view the playbook running results. The job list contains two tabs, "Job View" and "Switch View", where you can view the playbook through the job name or the switch SN number respectively.

By default, the job list is displayed by “Job View”.

Step 1        Click the “Task Results” button in the “Operation” column to show the job list.


   The playbook’s task result will be automatically ordered by “Modified Time”.

   User can click “Show Result” button in the “Operation” column to check the ansible task result.

   User can use the filter function on the top to easily find the search result.

Step 2        Click “Result Output” tab to show task results listing as text.

                   It will show the latest 10 task results in string format.

Step 3        Remove the job.

   Click the “Remove” button in job table to remove the job.

   To view jobs via "Switch View", you can do the following step:

   Click “Switch View” tab to show tasks sorted by the switch SN number.


      NOTE:

      The job status can be of three types: “IDLE”, “RUNNING” and “Executed”.

  • When the job schedule type is “Run Now”, it will show “RUNNING” when it is running, “Executed” when it has finished.
  • When the job schedule type is “One Time”, it will show “IDLE” when it is waiting to be executed, “RUNNING” when it is running, “Executed” when it has finished.
  • When the job schedule type is “Scheduled”, it will show “RUNNING” when it is running, “IDLE” when it is waiting to be executed.
