set protocols bgp neighbor evpn route-reflector-client
Run the command set protocols bgp neighbor evpn route-reflector-client to configure the BGP node to act as a route reflector for the specified BGP peer for EVPN. Optional parameter vrf can be used to specify a VRF, if no VRF is specified the command takes effect on the default VRF.Â
The command delete protocols bgp neighbor evpn route-reflector-client can be used to delete this configuration.
Command Syntax
set protocols bgp [vrf <vrf-name>] {neighbor <ip>| peer-group <peer-group> |interface <interface>} evpn route-reflector-client
delete protocols bgp [vrf <vrf-name>] {neighbor <ip>| peer-group <peer-group> |interface <interface>} evpn route-reflector-client
Parameter
Parameter | Description |
vrf <vrf-name> | Optional. Specifies the name of the VRF. The value is a string. |
neighbor <ip> | Specifies the IPv4/IPv6 address of a peer. |
peer-group <peer-group> | Specifies a peer group. |
interface <interface> | Specifies an L3 interface for BGP connection. The value could be a VLAN interface name, loopback interface name, routed interface or sub-interface name. |
Example
- Configure the BGP to act as route reflector for the specified BGP peer for EVPN in VRF BLUE.
