（Optional）Push Image before Upgrade

Usually, the upgrade image needs to be copied to the switch during the upgrade process, and it takes up a lot of upgrade time. AmpCon supports to push image to switch before upgrade, thus to save upgrade time, making the switch upgrade process more flexible and controllable.

The image can be pushed in two ways: based on a single switch or based on a switch group.

1.  Push image based on a single switch.

 Select Lifecycle > Upgrade Firmware menu, Click in “Operation” column, to push the corresponding image file to switch.

       2. Push image based on a switch group in a scheduled time.

 (a) Select Lifecycle > Upgrade Firmware menu, click Load, select Group Name, click Schedule Push Image, enter Start Time and End Time in UTC time zone, and then click Create Task as shown below.

 (b) Select Lifecycle > Scheduling to check the status of the scheduled task as shown below:

3. You can view the push result in report.

Scheduling Automated Upgrade

For scheduling automated upgrades for one or group of PICOS switches follow these steps:

1. Follow the instructions in the Setup PICOS image for a specific switch model section and then upload the latest PICOS image for a specific switch model.
2. Select Lifecycle > Upgrade Firmware menu, click Load, select Group Name, click Schedule Upgrade, enter Start Time and End Time in UTC time zone, and then click Create Task as shown below.

3. Select Lifecycle > Scheduling to check the status of the scheduled task as shown below:

 4. Select the Lifecycle > Upgrade menu, then click the Log icon of the specific switch you have upgraded to see the upgrade operation logs.
