The set protocols pimsm4 bootstrap cand-rp group-prefix command configures the range of multicast group that can serve on a C-RP.


Command Syntax

set protocols pimsm4 bootstrap cand-rp group-prefix <IPv4Net>

group-prefix <IPv4Net>

Specifies the range of multicast group that can serve on a C-RP. The value is an IPv4 multicast subnet address in the address/prefix-length format, e.g., 239.0.0.0/8.


Example

  • Configure the range of multicast group that can serve on a C-RP to 239.0.0.0/8.
