set protocols pimsm4 switch-to-spt-threshold disable


The set protocols pimsm4 switch-to-spt-threshold disable command is used to enable or disable the SPT switchover function.


Command Syntax

set protocols pimsm4 switch-to-spt-threshold disable <true | false>


Parameter

disable <true | false>

Enables or disables the SPT switchover function. The value could be true or false.

  •   true: disables the SPT switchover function.
  •   false: enables the SPT switchover function.

The default is false.


Usage Guidelines

When SPT switchover function is enabled, the receiver-side DR initiates SPT switchover to the source when receiving the first multicast packet. Further operation after SPT switchover function is enabled: you can also use set protocols pimsm4 switch-to-spt-threshold bytes and set protocols pimsm4 switch-to-spt-threshold interval commands to set the rate threshold of the multicast packets in a measurement interval to initiate SPT switchover.

  • Enable the SPT switchover function.
