set protocols ospf6 area interface vif router-dead-interval
To set the interval during which at least one OSPFv3 hello packet must be received from a neighbor before the router declares that neighbor as down, use the set protocols ospf6 area interface vif router-dead-interval command in L2/L3 configuration mode.
Command Syntax
set protocols ospf6 vrf vrf-name area area-id interface interface-name vif vif-name router-dead-interval time
Parameters
vrf-name | Optional. Specifies a VRF name. The value is a string. It’s a user-defined VRF set by the command set ip vrf <vrf-name> [description <string>]. Note that: The configuration is in the default VRF if not explicitly bound to any VRF. |
area-id | OSPFv3 area identifier. |
interface-name | Interface name. |
vif-name | Virtual interface name. |
time | Interval (in seconds) during which the router must receive at least one hello packet from a neighbor or that neighbor adjacency is removed. The range is 1-4294967295. |
Example
The following example configures the OSPFv6 dead interval to 20 seconds:
admin@Switch# set protocols ospf6 area 0.0.0.0 interface vlan2 vif vlan2 router-dead-interval 20
