User can configure the switch whether to send the IP router alert option in packets.


Command Syntax
set protocols ospf4 vrf <vrf-name> ip-router-alert <bool>


Parameter

• <vrf-name> Optional. Specifies a VRF name. The value is a string. It’s a user-defined VRF set by the command set ip vrf <vrf-name> [description <string>].

Note that: The configuration is in the default VRF if not explicitly bound to any VRF.

• <bool>Send the IP router alert option in packets.Required select include:

  • true
  • false


Example
• This example configure the switch to send the IP router alert option in packets.

admin@XorPlus# set protocols ospf4 ip-router-alert true 
admin@XorPlus# commit
